MICHAEL R. COWART
Michael R. Cowart is a graduate of The University of Alabama. After graduation, he began his career as an insurance broker with National Life of Vermont. Then in 2003, he formed Michael R. Cowart & Associates. They specialize in corporate employee benefits, executive benefits and risk management for corporate owners and top management. Michael is a qualifying and lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table and has Court and Top of the Table designations. Michael is active in industry and community affairs. He was a board member for John Hancock Agents Advisory Council in Boston, St. Ignatius Church, The Archdiocese of Mobile, and the YMCA. He currently serves on the boards of Meal a Wheel and L’Arche Mobile. Michael and his wife Cissy have two children. They attend St. Ignatius Catholic Church. His hobbies include running, golf, and traveling with family and friends.

MICHAEL R. COWART, JR.
Michael is a second-generation Cowart to work in the insurance and investment business. He earned a B.S in Finance with a specialization in Insurance from the University of Alabama.
Before coming home and joining The Cowart Group, Michael spent several years in Nashville, TN. He worked for Jackson National, a global leader in the retirement annuity market. During that period, Michael worked with financial professionals across the country helping build custom retirement and investment portfolios for their clients.
Michael works with corporations, their owners, and executives on their executive benefit plans, executive compensation planning, and employee benefit packages.
As an active member in the community, Michael serves on the board of the Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama. Michael and his wife Anna attend St. Ignatius Catholic Church. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing golf, running, and spending times with friends and family.
